This is possible for students from all Kiel universities in many degree programs as part of a supplementary subject/elective area. If in doubt, please inquire with your examination office. The courses from opencampus.sh are formally offered through the Center for Key Qualifications at Kiel University (CAU). Recognition is also possible for other universities, but you will need to inquire individually with your examination office. For the course offerings, 2.5 or 5 ECTS credits can be awarded upon successful completion in combination with a practical project or supplementary online courses. Grades are not assigned.
Exam registration: CAU students must provide their matriculation number in the EduHub (under Profile). We handle the exam registration at the end of the current semester, so you should not worry about this yourself. After successfully completing the examination requirement, you will receive the ECTS credits at the end of the current semester. We do not register students from other universities with the examination office. After successfully completing the course, you must independently submit the certificate issued by opencampus.sh to your examination office.
