Educational Leave

Coding.Waterkant is recognized by the State of Schleswig-Holstein as professional development training, and all employees can submit their participation in the event as educational leave. The recognition applies to the main program days from July 7–10, 2026.

Educational leave, also known as educational time off, refers to paid time off for professional development. All employees have a legal right to this—and it is granted in addition to regular vacation entitlement.
