Tickets are live! Coding.Waterkant 2026
From July 6–10, 2026, we’ll meet again in Kiel for a week of coding, projects, machine learning and community — right by the Baltic Sea.
Earlybird tickets are now available — but only for a short time.

🔥First speakers confirmed
We’re excited to welcome:
Sven Großmann (Grafana Labs)
will speak about AI, Observability & Security
Daniel Banck (HashiCorp / IBM)
returns with a workshop — many of you may remember him from previous Coding.Waterkant editions.
Moritz Besser & Sebastian Roseneck (envite consulting)
will show how energy-efficient AI and RAG systems can be built (and they’ll even check how green your code really is).
Bring your own project, spontaneously join a team, or start something new on-site.
💚 This year’s question: How green can you code?
Together with DigitalHub.SH, we’re putting a spotlight on Green Coding and sustainable software development.
If you’re working on projects around energy-efficient systems, sustainable AI or green software, bring them along.
And if not — that’s perfectly fine too. We are open to all kind of projects and new ideas usually emerge right at the water anyway.
New website (and a small email glitch 😅)

You might have noticed already:
Coding.Waterkant now has a new website.🎉
During the launch, a few emails went out that weren’t exactly planned.
So if you received multiple messages from us — sorry about that. It's still a process.
